DAMIAN DIAZ was born on January 26 1983. When Damian was growing up, he did many different things associated with dancing. He danced in many sweet 15 productions and was also in the group LA SALSA Kids as a member, dancing Casino Rueda. This dance originally came from Cuba form a casino called Casino Deportivo. Damian also enjoyed seeing many different DJ’s mix when he attended his dance shows. In 2001, fresh out of high school his mother bought him his first DJ system. It was a Numark mixer and cd players. From there he joined a DJ school in North Hollywood, California. Today, Damian is still doing his thing. Damian Diaz known as DJ Maku is featured as a Guest Mixer on the Saturday Night Groove.
