FOR “BEST TEAM” ESPY; FAN VOTING NOW OPEN

ESPN has announced its nominees for The 2023 ESPYS presented by Capital One and the Super Bowl LVII Champion Kansas City Chiefs have been nominated for “Best Team.”

The ESPY will be awarded by a fan vote. Voting is now open and Chiefs Kingdom can cast their vote for “Best Team” between now and 7 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 9 at www.espn.com/espys.

Other nominees for “Best Team” include:

  • Denver Nuggets (2022-23 NBA Champions)
  • Georgia Bulldogs Football (2023 College Football Playoff National Champions)
  • Las Vegas Aces (2022 WNBA Champions)
  • LSU Tigers Women’s Basketball (2022-23 NCAA Champions)
  • Oklahoma Sooners Softball (2023 NCAA Champions)
  • Vegas Golden Knights (2022-23 NHL Stanley Cup Champions)

QB Patrick Mahomes – the 2022 NFL MVP and Super Bowl LVII MVP – is also up for two individual ESPYS, “Best Athlete, Men’s Sports” and “Best NFL Player.” Mahomes is now a two-time nominee for “Best Athlete, Men’s Sports.”

  • Aaron Judge (“Best Athlete, Men’s Sports”)
  • Lionel Messi (“Best Athlete, Men’s Sports”)
